Important Update About PA Pool

I want to make you aware of a situation that may affect the PA Pool website over the coming days or weeks.

PA Pool’s website infrastructure and hosting have historically been managed by an external developer. Unfortunately, I am currently unable to access key parts of the system, including hosting, backups, and administrative controls, and I have not been able to obtain a response despite repeated attempts to resolve this.

As a result, there is a risk that the website could experience disruption at short notice.

I wanted to assure you that I am doing everything possible to protect the service and resolve this as quickly as I can. I am working with an independent security specialist to recover data and secure ongoing access, and contingency plans are being put in place.

We have been able to recover some data from the current site. However, in the unlikely event of an interruption, some user-specific information may not be fully recoverable, such as private messages, shortlists, blocked profiles and similar account activity.

For peace of mind, I would recommend making a note of or securely saving any important information you may need, such as:

• Contact details
• Shortlists
• Messages or ongoing arrangements

At the moment:
• The website is still live and functioning
• There is no immediate action required

However, I wanted to be open and transparent that disruption remains a possibility outside of my direct control.

If the website does become unavailable, I will do everything in my power to restore the service as quickly as possible. This may involve rebuilding the platform, which could take some time.

PA Pool supports thousands of people across the UK, and I fully understand how important this service is. I also personally rely on it, so resolving this situation is my absolute priority.
