If the pilot proves successful then the Trust intends to establish the bursary scheme on a more permanent basis, supported by an annual auction. The auction will be run online via the Ebay for Charities website and already includes four pairs of professional hairdressers scissors, valued at £250 each, from Wella; Eversheds has offered one of their half-day courses, valued at £750; AoC Create has offered a place at the AoC Annual Conference 2014 valued at £530; Justin King, Chief Executive of Sainsbury’s, has offered to speak at a breakfast meeting; Hannah Cockroft, the double Paralympic gold medallist for sprinting has donated a signed top; and Justine Greening MP has offered some Olympic merchandise. We have offered a year’s subscription to PA Pool! The auction will run in the Autumn term and be publicised at the AoC Annual Conference. We’ll update you with more details in due course.
