Caring with Confidence

We have been contacted by the Spinal Injuries Association, the leading national user-led charity for spinal cord injured (SCI) people with regards to 
their study days taking place in 2017.The Spinal Injuries Association (SIA) hold a popular series of healthcare professional Study Days and, on 22 February 2017 are launching a new Study Day called ‘Caring with Confidence’, which will be facilitated by the Nurse Advocate team and aimed at healthcare assistants, carers and PAs who are working with spinal cord injured people.This event will look at issues such as bladder and bowel management, nutrition and caring for the skin.The event will take place on Wednesday 22 February: 9am–4pm at MKCC, Strudwick Drive, Milton Keynes, MK6 2TG.Tickets for the event are priced as follows:
