aspireAspire have launched a new campaign to make it a legal requirement for public broadcasters to show disability sports on a regular basis.
Aspire have created a new petition aimed at Karen Bradley MP - Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport – requesting a regulation that states disabled sports should be given the same amount of media coverage on a regular basis and on a par with able-bodied sports, so that professional disabled athletes have an equal opportunity to truly inspire the next generation.
Aspire Campaign was launched as they feel there needs to be an equal opportunity for developing disabled athletes as well as other fans to watch their favourite disability sport on a more regular basis aside from the Paralympic and Invictus Games.
